Pukeberg was founded in Sweden in 1871 by C.W. Nystrom, who had previously worked at Kosta. It was bought by Arvid Bohlmark in 1884, and became part of AB Bohlmarks Lampfabrik in 1888. Pukeberg began producing decorative glass in the 1930’s, and is still in production today. Designers who have worked at Pukeberg include Uno Westerberg between 1935 – 1978, Goran Warff 1958 – 1964, Ann Warff, Eva Englund 1964 – 1973, and Erik Hoglund during the 1970’s.
Eva Margareta Englund was a Swedish designer and artist. Eva Englund was educated at Konstfack’s ceramics line and at Capellagården. She was active at, among others, Pukeberg’s glassworks 1964–1973 and Orrefors glassworks 1974–1990. She created graal glass, vases and bowls, often with faces and figures as motifs. Englund is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm and the Kalmar Art Museum.
